Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and audit CI/CD pipelines for application deployments and infrastructure automation.
- Build and manage observability frameworks, APM solutions, monitoring agents, instrumentation, and telemetry collection.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes applications, infrastructure, and data pipelines in production.
- Define and implement SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, resiliency improvements, and platform reliability initiatives.
- Set up and manage synthetic monitoring for critical business applications.
- Lead incident management, problem management, root-cause analysis, and production support improvements.
- Guide, mentor, and coach technical teams while managing stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of overall IT experience with strong Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and observability expertise.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Azure Cloud experience, including Azure Monitor, Automation, Traffic Manager, and cloud-native monitoring services.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and auditing CI/CD pipelines.
- At least 3 years of experience building observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, and related APM solutions.
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes-based applications, infrastructure, and data pipelines.
- Expertise in SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, synthetic monitoring, APM implementation, resiliency engineering, and SRE practices.
- Experience with incident management, problem management, stakeholder management, team mentoring, and operational excellence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
