Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, modular, and secure software components.
- Develop software on a RHEL operating system platform.
- Build custom C++ applications, X Windows applications, and web-based middleware.
- Develop applications and policies supporting security accreditations.
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with five or more years of experience, master’s degree with three or more years of experience, or PhD with zero years of related experience.
- High-level experience with JavaScript, React, Linux/RHEL, and web technologies.
- Experience with JavaScript, React, CSS3, HTML5, and third-party libraries such as React.js, Angular, jQuery, and LESS.
- Experience with Nginx or Apache servers and a strong Linux background.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Basic UI/UX and prototype design ability.
- Strong understanding of low-level operating-system concepts, including multithreading, memory management, networking, storage, performance, and scale.
- Ability to visualize and build proposed systems.
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance required to start; ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after starting.
- C++ experience and strong computer-science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems are desired.
