Responsibilities
- Build a full-stack CI/CD platform supporting pipeline state, release workflows, deployment visibility, operational controls, and enterprise integrations.
- Develop backend services with Java and Spring Boot and frontend experiences with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Design relational data models, APIs, schema migrations, and audit metadata for pipeline and release systems.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests covering CI/CD flows from triggering through build, publishing, deployment, and verification.
- Deploy and operate platform services using CI/CD, GitOps, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
- Contribute to AI-native platform capabilities including MCP servers and AI agents for deployment failure detection, rollback automation, and troubleshooting guidance.
- Optimize service performance, database and API behavior, scalability, and production reliability.
- Own features from conception through production release while collaborating across product, backend, DevOps, and QA teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience writing production code and tests for large-scale systems.
- At least 4 years of full-stack experience with Java/Spring Boot and React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools throughout requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Experience with relational database design, query performance, and schema migrations using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling for builds, testing, artifact publishing, and deployment, such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of Argo CD, Ansible, Harness, or equivalent deployment and release tooling.
- Experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests as part of standard software delivery.
- Experience with database and API scalability, production operations, and end-to-end feature ownership.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-native DevOps, MCP servers, AI agents, CI/CD or internal developer platforms, HashiCorp Vault, Helm, Kustomize, VM-based deployment, RabbitMQ, Redis, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, regulated release environments, or event-driven systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, strategic thinking, and product orientation.
