Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise application migration and modernization initiatives to AWS.
- Define and execute rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies.
- Conduct application discovery, codebase assessment, and dependency mapping.
- Design and implement cloud-native application architectures using microservices and serverless patterns.
- Refactor monolithic applications into modular and scalable components.
- Modernize application code, frameworks, and runtime environments using .NET, Java, and Python.
- Integrate and enhance CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
- Provide hands-on architecture and development leadership, mentorship, code reviews, and engineering guidance.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and improve application scalability and efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- Experience with full-stack enterprise application development using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Node.js, and Python, plus TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience building enterprise web applications and RESTful APIs using microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap, Material UI, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
- Experience with API design, integration, application security, OAuth, and JWT.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps practices, AWS or other cloud platforms, and cloud application migration.
- Strong understanding of microservices, API-first, and distributed-system architectures.
- Ability to lead architecture design while remaining hands-on with development, resolve complex issues, optimize performance, and mentor teams.
- Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments and strong shell scripting experience.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred.
