Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end cloud, hybrid, and on-premise integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Build modular, reusable, and maintainable integration flows using routing, splitting, gathering, message mapping, and transformation patterns.
- Implement transformations for JSON, XML, and CSV data and use Groovy for enrichment, validation, conditional execution, and performance tuning.
- Design secure APIs with authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, lifecycle management, and observability.
- Integrate third-party applications through connectors and enable event-driven messaging for near-real-time, decoupled architectures.
- Build AI-native integration agents, retrieval-grounded assistance, intelligent mapping recommendations, anomaly detection, predictive operations, and conversational troubleshooting.
- Develop automated integration tests, payload regression suites, replay testing, API verification, and AI evaluation harnesses with release gates.
- Configure monitoring, dashboards, alerts, traceability, correlation IDs, structured logging, and failure-mode analysis.
- Apply integration governance, advisory practices, maturity assessments, standardization, and legacy-platform modernization approaches.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, cloud integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
- Experience implementing message mappings, routing patterns, and transformation logic across enterprise data formats.
- Practical scripting capability, such as Groovy, for advanced integration customization and performance tuning.
- Strong API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, lifecycle/versioning, and observability.
- Ability to build retrieval-grounded, tool-augmented AI workflows with measurable evaluation loops, guardrails, and safe action boundaries.
- Knowledge of event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, connector-based SaaS integrations, migration from legacy integration platforms, and integration governance is beneficial.
