Responsibilities
- Build core services, APIs, and platform capabilities for UiPath Data Fabric.
- Design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, reliable, and highly available backend services for a multi-tenant platform.
- Own features from design through production, monitor deployed software, debug cross-service issues, and help resolve incidents.
- Build capabilities that enable AI agents and automations to discover and use business data.
- Contribute to customer-facing web experiences using Angular or React with TypeScript.
- Use AI tools and coding agents for code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation while maintaining engineering quality.
- Communicate technical ideas and design decisions and collaborate with globally distributed agile teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience building backend or full-stack production services.
- Strong backend programming skills in C#/.NET or Java and willingness to learn new languages.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, asynchronous programming, and basic system design.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including schema design and query performance.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and agile development.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort working with globally distributed teams.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, data mesh architectures, LLMs, AI-powered API automation, Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
