Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed execution solutions for the Neuron compiler.
- Develop efficient and reliable build, test, and release mechanisms.
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain highly available software solutions.
- Create metrics, implement automation, improve software architecture, and resolve software defects.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with compiler, hardware, ML, and AWS ML services teams to deliver new products and features.
- Research implementations that improve customer experiences, service performance, durability, cost, and security.
- Mentor others or provide technical leadership across engineering efforts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
