Base Salary
$185k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development and global rollout of the Core platform for market data, quantitative research, pricing, and strategy groups.
- Build tools and frameworks for data-driven systematic pricing and trading strategies.
- Develop exchange connectivity software for market data and order submission using exchange APIs and protocols.
- Implement and maintain testing suites and optimize exchange communication, including kernel bypass, TLS, and connection handling.
- Implement and improve trading algorithms, trading-engine stability, reliability, and performance.
- Enhance monitoring and observability with the Trading Operations team.
- Investigate production crashes, business-logic issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Prepare releases and deployments of new trading-engine versions.
- Collaborate with engineers, quantitative researchers, traders, and technical traders to refine requirements and implementation.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of post-graduation professional C++ software development experience; proprietary trading experience is preferred.
- Strong ability to write clean, reliable, and highly scalable code.
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Experience with parallel, asynchronous, and multithreaded programming.
- Interest in maximizing performance from available hardware and software.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical business colleagues.
