Base Salary
$184k - $357k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components of the NVIDIA DriveWorks SDK.
- Develop and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance and customer requirements.
- Build sensor abstraction layers, data processing components, process scheduling, data serialization, network communications, and application frameworks.
- Perform in-vehicle tests, collect data, and complete autonomous driving missions.
- Establish unit tests, document features, evaluate quality, and propose corrective actions.
- Develop efficient production code in C and C++ using CUDA and GPGPU parallelism while following MISRA and AUTOSAR standards.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of professional experience working on autonomous vehicles software.
- Excellent C and C++ programming skills.
- Strong programming and debugging knowledge for parallel and distributed architectures.
- Proficiency with AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Gemini.
- Strong background in Linux, QNX, and/or other real-time operating systems.
- Ability to write low-latency, highly performant code.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience includes data-parallel or GPGPU programming, CUDA, OpenCL, OpenCV, MATLAB, automotive systems, ADAS, OpenGL, Git, and Bazel.
