Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components of the NVIDIA DriveWorks SDK.
- Develop and optimize software architectures and frameworks for real-world performance.
- Build sensor abstraction layers, data processing components, process scheduling, serialization, network communications, and application frameworks.
- Perform in-vehicle tests, collect data, and complete autonomous driving missions.
- Establish unit tests, document features, evaluate quality, and propose corrective actions.
- Develop efficient production code in C++ using CUDA and GPGPU parallelism.
- Work across platform software, embedded software, and cloud infrastructure teams while following safety and performance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of professional experience working on autonomous vehicle software.
- Excellent C and C++ programming skills.
- Strong programming and debugging knowledge for parallel and distributed architectures.
- Proficiency with AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Gemini.
- Strong background with Linux, QNX, and/or other real-time operating systems.
- Ability to write low-latency, highly performant code.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Preferred experience with data-parallel or GPGPU programming, CUDA, and OpenCL.
- Preferred knowledge of OpenCV, MATLAB, automotive systems, ADAS applications, modern OpenGL, Git, and Bazel.

- Base salary varies by location, experience, and comparable employee pay; the stated ranges are $184,000-$287,500 for Level 4 and $224,000-$356,500 for Level 5.
