Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the maintainability, reliability, and utility of Palantir’s internal compute infrastructure
- Own internal platforms and make architectural decisions supporting sustainable operations
- Evaluate build-versus-buy options and partner with vendors to integrate external technologies
- Collaborate with teams to understand emerging needs and deliver infrastructure solutions
- Participate in the on-call rotation for high-severity incidents affecting critical systems
- Research and evaluate new technologies and open-source advancements
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience on core infrastructure, with an emphasis on operational excellence
- At least 2 years contributing to system design or architecture for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Strong systems programming proficiency in Go, Python, or Rust
- Deep familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCE, or sysadmin/SRE work in data centers
- Understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and on-premises infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and system reliability principles
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance
