Responsibilities
- Code, test, debug, design, and develop software programs and small technical modules.
- Repair coding problems and provide technical support for existing applications and escalated client issues.
- Support the help desk, monitor technical-support trends, and advise senior team members on system performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, vendors, business and IT stakeholders, and team members to define requirements, manage release scope, and develop project plans.
- Support product-feature testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Develop technical documentation and act as a technical resource for other analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- More than three years of application development experience.
- Proven experience as an Application Developer in the insurance industry.
- Experience across a range of technology and non-technology projects.
- Strong technical skills in Express.js, Angular, Node.js, and React.
- Ability to interpret process models, requirements, and business scenarios and translate them into solutions.
- Understanding of agentic development concepts, including autonomous AI agents for business workflow automation and data analysis.
- Ability to speak Japanese.
- Preferred: experience in fast-paced environments, international projects involving Japan, and cross-cultural or cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
