Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services, APIs, and scalable mobile or web-based applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in requirements gathering, development, deployment, maintenance, and the broader software development lifecycle.
- Work with product management, customer experience design, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define solutions and estimate scope.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve the technology stack.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Application Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5+ years of software development experience focused on full-stack or back-end development.
- Mandatory proficiency in Java 17 or later and strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Experience with Spring, especially Spring Boot and Spring Batch, and knowledge of Spring Cloud for microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, version control systems such as Bitbucket or Git, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js is optional.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and application and web development security best practices.
