Responsibilities
- Build highly available and secure authentication and API services.
- Maintain and evolve mission-critical internal databases and services.
- Architect, optimize, and operate high-volume, auto-scaling, reliable real-time data infrastructure and services.
- Optimize AI services to scale models for low-latency, real-time inference.
- Build observability at scale for detailed insights into customer usage and performance.
- Write and maintain documentation for internal and public services.
- Decompose complex business problems and lead a team in solving them.
Requirements
- Expertise in one or more systems or high-level programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience running scalable systems handling thousands of requests per second with three-nines reliability.
- Experience developing complex software systems that scale to substantial data volumes or millions of users, including production-quality deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
- Experience with large-scale distributed storage and database systems, including SQL or NoSQL databases such as Postgres or Cassandra.
- Experience building and maintaining large-scale or real-time complex data-processing pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Eight or more years of experience with proven technical leadership and expertise in scalable, distributed architectures.
- Experience with real-time ML inference or building agentic AI systems at scale is preferred.
