Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software for eBay Motors products and services.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and business logic.
- Collaborate with product management, UX design, data science, quality engineering, and architecture teams.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable solutions.
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, operational excellence, and existing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience building full-stack web applications.
- Strong JavaScript proficiency and experience with React, Marko, or Vue.
- Backend development experience with Java, Kotlin, or another modern object-oriented programming language.
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web development, browser technologies, RESTful APIs, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes GraphQL, distributed systems, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or GCP, SQL or NoSQL databases, and modern DevOps practices.
- Interest in automotive technology or ecommerce platforms is a plus.
