
Associate, Software Engineer, New Grad Card Expansion
Capital OneResponsibilities
- Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the software development life cycle.
- Collaborate with designers and analysts to implement application enhancements and new applications.
- Develop code that meets story acceptance criteria.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-quality output.
- Follow continuous improvement practices to meet quality and time-to-market goals.
- Maintain records documenting program development and revisions.
- Provide third-level support for software solutions as needed.
Requirements
- Obtain a bachelor’s degree or higher between September 2025 and September 2026.
- Demonstrate good communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Have a good understanding of testing fundamentals.
- Have experience with Unix or Linux operating systems.
- Be able to work collaboratively in a team setting and participate actively in team discussions.
- Preferred qualifications include front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML, React, Vue, or Angular.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or Kotlin.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, microservices, API design or integration, and Git.
- Preferred qualifications include a strong coding background in a Linux or Unix environment.
