Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain secure, reliable, and maintainable software across the Field Operations Platform.
- Develop functionality for forecasting and scheduling colleague availability and dispatching appropriately skilled engineers to customer locations.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, Operations, and other stakeholders in cross-functional engineering squads.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical refinement, automated testing, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Support live services through incident investigation, root cause analysis, and platform improvements.
- Make application development decisions balancing customer impact, performance, reliability, development efficiency, security, privacy, and risk.
- Design, integrate, operate, evaluate, and monitor AI-enabled workflows, retrieval-augmented systems, and AI agents responsibly.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working as a software engineer in a cross-functional delivery team within a modern product or platform environment.
- Working knowledge of source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code review, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience writing secure, maintainable, well-tested code and understanding performance, resilience, scalability, security, data protection, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, managed services, and cloud-native concepts.
- Experience supporting live services through incident investigation, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
- Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, SQL, NoSQL, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Service Bus Queue, Storage Account, Application Insights, Key Vault, Event Grid, Container Registry, and Batch Account.
- Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot issues, contribute to technical solutions, and collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, QE, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to design and integrate AI-enabled solutions, including prompt-driven workflows, retrieval-augmented systems, and AI agents, with structured evaluation, testing, monitoring, and responsible data lifecycle management.
