Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and backend services.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and support Banking & Capital Markets business requirements.
- Contribute to Axiom implementations, enhancements, and integrations for regulatory reporting.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Develop queries and optimize application performance using relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Implement messaging and asynchronous processing using Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and cross-functional teams.
- Support CI/CD processes and application deployments using Jenkins.
Requirements
- 4–9 years of experience in Java backend development or enterprise application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, J2SE/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and REST API development and integration.
- Experience in Banking & Capital Markets, preferably involving regulatory reporting.
- Knowledge of Axiom regulatory reporting solutions and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases including MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Any graduation, B.E., B.Tech, or a related discipline.
