Responsibilities
- Define and implement comprehensive functional, regression, non-functional, and performance testing strategies.
- Write test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and scalable test suites.
- Conduct performance testing, tune systems, identify bottlenecks, and ensure data integrity in distributed data systems.
- Identify, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with development and product teams.
- Use version control and CI tools to manage code changes and automate test execution.
- Analyze testing processes, recommend improvements, and drive quality initiatives and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development and operations teams and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in quality engineering and quality assurance, focused on test automation, performance testing, and defect management.
- Proficiency in Java and experience developing automated tests with test automation frameworks.
- Experience defining and executing test strategies and writing plans, cases, and scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience with Git and CI tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Expertise in defect identification, tracking, resolution, and collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, analytical, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and align testing environments with industry best practices.
