Responsibilities
- Secure and govern cloud platforms, SaaS applications, APIs, AI-driven automation, agentic workflows, machine identities, and cloud-connected business processes.
- Implement and improve centralized logging, telemetry integrations, log integrity, retention, coverage, and onboarding across enterprise systems.
- Integrate cloud and SaaS telemetry with SIEM platforms, managed SOC providers, and security monitoring solutions.
- Tune detection rules, monitoring logic, and alert thresholds while supporting alert triage, investigation, escalation, and response coordination.
- Monitor cloud and SaaS environments for anomalous behavior, policy violations, suspicious activity, and indicators of compromise.
- Support incident response by gathering evidence, validating event scope, assisting with containment, coordinating remediation, and documenting lessons learned.
- Improve security automation, detection and response capabilities, operational workflows, standards, procedures, and AI governance.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, SaaS security, security operations, or related security engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience securing SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, and cloud-connected workflows in enterprise environments.
- Experience with centralized logging, SIEM integration, security monitoring, detection engineering, SOC operations, alert investigation, and incident response.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
- Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, GIAC, Azure security certifications, AWS security certifications, or other cloud and security operations certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-driven automation, agentic workflows, service accounts, and machine identities is strongly preferred.
- Experience with control validation, security policy enforcement, and audit activities in regulated environments is preferred.
- Upstream oil and gas experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-partnership skills.
