Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, triage, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities reported by security tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and implement application development security policies, procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
- Conduct security assessments and assist with code reviews to identify security weaknesses.
- Manage security training and awareness programs for development teams and stakeholders.
- Support compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations and provide application security guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in application security or a related role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, technologies, and vulnerability management techniques.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of web application security frameworks and standards such as OWASP and NIST.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
