Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
- Design and develop Java microservices using GCP SDKs and GKE/Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, data models, data quality checks, and data transformations.
- Apply serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Integrate systems with internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.
- Participate in technology roadmaps, architecture discussions, and solution evaluation across a globally distributed engineering team.
- Implement security best practices in pipelines and infrastructure and troubleshoot data anomalies and distributed-system issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud technology, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing Java and SpringBoot microservices using GCP SDKs and GKE/Kubernetes.
- Intermediate-level understanding of Google Cloud Platform and cloud computing concepts, with basic knowledge of other cloud environments.
- Experience building and maintaining moderately complex data pipelines, data models, and performance optimizations.
- Advanced Git usage and CI/CD integration skills.
- Preferred experience with Dataflow, Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, Apache Spark, Dataproc, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, large-data analysis, or AI/ML model development.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
