Base Salary
$140k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build out core infrastructure services and microservices for machine learning and platform teams.
- Develop functionalities such as distributed configuration management, rate limiting, and A/B testing.
- Enhance the performance, scalability, and observability of the cloud infrastructure.
- Deliver deadline-sensitive work that is interdependent with other engineering teams.
- Own features end-to-end and influence the infrastructure roadmap.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Core and ML engineering teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining backend distributed systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
- Experience with containers/Docker and cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience operating open source technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Istio at scale.
- Desire to work at a startup pace with a high degree of ownership.
- Experience in performance optimization, scalability, latency, and monitoring.
- Strong motivation and an appetite for completing challenging projects quickly.
- BS in computer science or a related field.
- High level of curiosity about engineering and a desire to learn continuously.
