Base Salary
$111k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements, incorporate feedback, and identify potential design issues.
- Design and develop maintainable software products, services, and components based on business and technical needs.
- Write, debug, review, and maintain code using established patterns, guidelines, and best practices.
- Apply security assessment processes and create test plans to identify and resolve defects.
- Participate in project estimation, communicate risks and delays, and contribute to design documentation.
- Respond to incidents during on-call rotations by troubleshooting issues and deploying fixes.
- Maintain current technical skills through training focused on availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with technologies, software systems, or a directly related field.
- Experience developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
- Experience creating and implementing code for products, services, or components.
- Experience with coding patterns, guidelines, best practices, debugging tools, test plans, and testing procedures.
- Experience responding to incidents and troubleshooting issues during on-call rotations.
- At least 1 year of experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services.
- At least 1 year of experience working on client-facing projects or technical teams.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in math, science, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
