Responsibilities
- Build data quality monitoring, data contracts, and lineage tracking for risk decisions.
- Design automated control-assurance systems that detect drift, false positives, false negatives, and coverage gaps.
- Create audit-trail infrastructure and explainability tooling for regulatory reporting and compliance evidence.
- Design scalable, high-throughput solutions for governance across multiple risk domains.
- Integrate governance and assurance capabilities with the Risk API through shared data contracts and clean integration points.
- Collaborate with Risk API, Product, and Financial Crime stakeholders to define data models and integration patterns.
Requirements
- Proven experience building high-throughput, data-intensive backend systems in any programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases, including designing for scale and reliability.
- Experience with data quality frameworks, pipeline orchestration, or lineage tracking.
- Ability to reason about complex distributed systems, identify failure modes, and design robust, operationally simple solutions.
- Ability to operate autonomously, define work from high-level objectives, and drive delivery end-to-end.
- Ability to collaborate across team boundaries with technical and business stakeholders.
