Responsibilities
- Engage directly with internal stakeholders and operating units to understand technical needs and business priorities.
- Translate requirements into working software prototypes and full-featured solutions.
- Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, automation, data analysis, and research acceleration.
- Build integrations, applications, and scripts across cloud services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
- Iterate rapidly with continuous feedback from subject matter experts.
- Deploy applications to production and provide post-deployment support.
- Document learnings, design decisions, and reusable components to support scale and knowledge-sharing.
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and technologies and help introduce them across Quanta’s ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in software development, systems integration, or technical consulting.
- At least two years of hands-on Databricks experience in an enterprise setting.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern development practices involving containers and APIs.
- Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
- Strong problem-solving, consultative, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and domain contexts quickly.
- Cloud certifications or AI/ML specializations are preferred; no licenses or certifications are required.
