Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement cloud software supporting space ground systems and operations.
- Write and maintain software using modern programming languages including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain RESTful APIs supporting mission and business functionality.
- Apply CI/CD practices, Git version control, and automated testing for reliable software delivery.
- Prepare charts, present data, and provide recommendations to internal teams, program leadership, and external customers.
- Manage personal tasking and priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable period.
- Experience designing and developing applications using AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C++.
- Experience developing and deploying RESTful APIs.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing.
- Preferred: active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
- Preferred: experience with event-driven or serverless AWS architectures and integrating multiple AWS services.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS security best practices, including IAM, KMS, resource policies, and VPC.
- Preferred: infrastructure-as-code experience with CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Preferred: experience with API Gateway, endpoint security, and custom authorizers.
- Preferred: familiarity with ground segments, mission operations, and secure communications.
Benefits
- Primary base salary range is $91,800.00-$137,600.00 annually.

- The position is onsite in Redondo Beach, California, with 10% travel.
- The role is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining customer and/or business funding.
