Responsibilities
- Own and shape the architecture of Reddit’s Android App.
- Improve Android developer experience through tools and workflows.
- Define and operationalize guardrails for code quality.
- Build and evolve Android client health and observability foundations.
- Apply AI to engineering workflows for enhanced productivity.
- Mentor and support Android engineers through design reviews and documentation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- At least 4+ years in designing/developing Android applications.
- Experience with large codebases serving 100+ engineers.
- Mastery of modern Android development tools and practices.
- Strong background in Android platform/infrastructure.
- Practical experience applying AI to engineering workflows.
