Responsibilities
- Design, build, and implement security controls and frameworks for PlayStation Online Services’ cloud infrastructure.
- Identify security gaps and lead initiatives to mature security tools and operational processes.
- Define system requirements and implement cloud-based security applications and controls with product and platform teams.
- Design, develop, and deploy automation for auditing, protecting, and making changes across multi-cloud environments.
- Develop automated security processes that integrate seamlessly into code build and deployment workflows using DevSecOps practices.
- Research new technologies, introduce solutions, and guide engineers toward better platform security decisions.
Requirements
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
- Security engineering experience implementing authentication, authorization workflows, or security operations on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience implementing workflows using Python or Go.
- Preferred: CISSP, CCSP, or similar technical certifications.
- Preferred: Extensive multi-cloud experience and a track record as a security engineer or architect.
- Preferred: Experience designing and implementing infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Preferred: Comprehensive experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or related tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: Experience building end-to-end enterprise-level systems and coaching or developing talent.
