Responsibilities
- Hold design authority and delivery accountability for SAP MM Inventory Management across multiple workstreams.
- Configure movement types, stock types, reason codes, automatic account determination, special stock, valuation, physical inventory, cycle counting, and stock transport orders.
- Own material valuation, price control, MM-to-FI postings, inventory accuracy, defect trends, quality gates, and release readiness.
- Coordinate Inventory Management dependencies with Purchasing, EWM, Production, and Finance.
- Lead recovery of stressed or delayed workstreams and report delivery risk and recovery trajectories to programme leadership.
- Define AI-assisted delivery standards, accelerator governance, SAP Joule usage, grounding content controls, validation controls, and agent acceptance standards.
- Mentor Managers and senior engineers through design reviews, pairing, and codified reusable patterns.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience on the primary SAP MM skill is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Design-authority experience with SAP MM Inventory Management in S/4HANA or ECC is required.
- Expertise is required in movement types, stock types, reason codes, automatic account determination, consignment, subcontracting, project stock, returnable packaging, valuation, physical inventory, cycle counting, and stock transport orders.
- Comprehensive knowledge of material valuation, price control, and the MM-to-FI posting interface is required.
- Hands-on configuration or design-level build work on the primary skill within the last 24 months is required.
- Experience leading multiple SAP workstreams and recovering at least one engagement that was behind plan or under quality pressure is required.
- Experience developing Managers and senior engineers through design review, pairing, and reusable patterns is required.
- Experience defining AI delivery standards, governing accelerators, measuring productivity outcomes, and setting SAP Joule or equivalent AI tooling standards is required.
- Executive stakeholder management and the ability to defend design and delivery decisions under incomplete information and commercial pressure are required.
- Experience with EWM interfaces, SAP IBP inventory optimization, batch and serial number management at scale, or clean-core extensibility for movement types and postings is preferred.
