Base Salary
$178k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead modernization initiatives for Retirement Plan Services technology platforms.
- Design and develop secure, scalable modern APIs using .NET technologies, C#, and RESTful API practices.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture principles in collaboration with architects and product teams.
- Integrate APIs with public and private cloud environments and enterprise systems.
- Mentor junior engineers, develop team talent, and provide technical guidance across multiple teams.
- Align technology strategy with business objectives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Ensure operational excellence, security, scalability, and performance of APIs and platforms.
- Improve governance, coding standards, CI/CD practices, and iterative delivery.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize API performance.
- Lead migration from legacy systems such as SNE to cloud-native platforms such as PCF and Tanzu.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on API development.
- 5+ years in leadership roles leading engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Expertise in .NET Core, .NET 6+, C#, and RESTful API design.
- Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of API security practices including OAuth2 and JWT.
- Deep knowledge of API design and integration, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments, leading Scrum teams, and driving iterative delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to align technology strategy with business objectives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with AI-driven development tools or Vertex AI ADK.
- Preferred familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Prometheus.
- Financial-services or retirement-plan systems experience and strong leadership and mentoring capabilities are preferred.
