Responsibilities
- Plan testing approaches and test data activities using business requirements, solution designs, and functional specifications.
- Design and develop functional and non-functional use cases and test cases.
- Maintain and execute test scripts using test management tools and report testing progress.
- Identify, track, investigate, reproduce, and verify resolution of defects with developers.
- Provide feedback on product limitations and testing challenges.
- Develop domain and solution knowledge and contribute across the full product life cycle.
- Participate actively in agile team duties and mentor others in software testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Energy Management Systems and SCADA systems, including state estimation, short circuit analysis, security-constrained dispatch, security analysis, network modeling, and congestion forecasting.
- Knowledge of quality assurance programs, procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Experience with Zephyr Scale for Jira or Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Knowledge of QA testing principles and automated test development using tools such as Visual Studio, NUnit, or TestNG is preferred.
- Programming experience with C# or Java is preferred.
- Candidates must be authorized to work for Hitachi Energy in India.
