Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available digital forensics platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments.
- Develop and manage Terraform infrastructure as code for secure, repeatable, and auditable cloud environments.
- Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for infrastructure and platform releases.
- Automate platform deployment, configuration management, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Perform functional, validation, failover, and production readiness testing.
- Implement cloud networking, storage, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity operations, engineering, and cloud service teams to improve reliability, scalability, and incident response.
- Apply AI-assisted practices to security testing, control validation, and threat modeling.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in security engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS compute, networking, storage, identity management, and audit logging, plus Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines for infrastructure and platform releases.
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows servers in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, role-based access control, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Experience using Git, including branching strategies and code review practices.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and security recommendations for security, resiliency, and auditability.
- Preferred: experience with digital forensics platforms, VMware, container-based architectures, threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, disaster recovery, high availability, and resiliency initiatives.
