Responsibilities
- Drive the technical roadmap and high-level design for preventing, detecting, and autonomously containing threats across systems and AI agents.
- Build proof-of-concepts for autonomous agent harnesses that detect, analyze, and mitigate security vulnerabilities in real time.
- Architect non-bypassable security guardrails across the software development lifecycle for human developers and AI coding agents.
- Execute adversarial testing and red teaming across APIs, AI systems, and infrastructure.
- Design defenses against prompt injection, system misuse, manipulation, data leakage, jailbreaking, and unauthorized AI-agent actions.
- Architect a zero-trust identity control plane with time-bound, least-privileged, continuously verified access for humans and autonomous agents.
- Mentor security engineers, provide architectural guidance, and partner with ML, DevOps, and Platform teams to promote secure coding practices without direct reporting lines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on technical experience across infrastructure security, product security, system design, and DevSecOps.
- Proven experience using coding agents and LLMs for security workflows, red teaming GenAI models, and defending against jailbreaking, adversarial ML, and model hallucination risks.
- Deep proficiency with AWS or GCP, their security tools, Docker, and containerization technologies.
- Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and Python, with experience securing production code, developing security tooling, and conducting manual source code reviews.
- Advanced threat-modeling skills and the ability to architect secure-by-default platform capabilities for AI-native and distributed architectures.
- Relevant certifications such as GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) or OffSec Advanced Web Attacks and Exploitation (WEB-300) are a bonus.
- Understanding of AI security frameworks such as MITRE ATLAS and NIST AI RMF is preferred.
- Experience with bug bounty programs, conference or meetup speaking, and developing security products or frameworks is preferred.
