Senior Manager, Solutions Architecture
TELUS DigitalResponsibilities
- Lead technical scoping, solution design, and work planning during the pre-sale process.
- Lead technical architecture and discovery projects for client initiatives.
- Support delivery teams in implementing client product and technical visions.
- Own a technology vertical covering solution design, platform selection, implementation support, and thought leadership.
- Provide account-level architectural guidance and subject matter expertise to in-flight projects.
- Discuss the firm’s engineering capabilities with prospective clients and support commercial conversations.
- Develop estimates, work plans, and project plans within time and cost constraints.
- Refine client product visions by presenting and evaluating multiple technical approaches.
- Expand accounts by holistically servicing client organizations.
Requirements
- Expertise in one or more front-end, backend, cloud, data, content management, analytics, or third-party technology areas.
- Experience delivering software in an agency or client-service environment.
- Experience with commercial conversations involving budgets and fees.
- Experience with software estimation, work planning, and project planning.
- Ability to explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to iterate and refine product visions with clients through multiple approach options.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort navigating ambiguity.
- Ability to apply repeatable frameworks and best practices to new technologies or concepts.
- Comfort working in both pre-sale and post-sale environments.
- Interest in learning mobile software development principles.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Connect, Zendesk CCaaS, Google CES, Five9, or Genesys CCaaS.
- Preferred experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud data warehousing or lakehouse platforms.
- Preferred proficiency with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform, or Vertex AI.
- Preferred understanding of MLOps and tools for continuous delivery of machine learning models.
- Preferred familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
