Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a scalable and secure Kubernetes runtime environment.
- Provide internal support for the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve domain-specific problems.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve critical issues.
- Conduct blameless post-mortems and implement systemic fixes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development and operating distributed systems.
- Proficient in Go, Python, or a similar language with a focus on code quality.
- Deep experience with containerization technologies, preferably Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Linux internals and networking concepts.
- Customer-focused mindset treating internal developers as primary users.
- Strong operational ownership with a track record of debugging production issues.
- Preference for automation over manual processes.
