Base Salary
$134k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive agentic coding workflows and infrastructure as code practices.
- Lead long-term architectural decisions for Axon's platform technologies.
- Design and build a Kubernetes-based platform for lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to guide application design patterns.
- Build and operate a self-service platform for datastore solutions.
- Partner with application teams to resolve datastore performance issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven ability to design and operate complex distributed systems at scale.
- Experience with agentic AI tooling or LLM-powered developer tools.
- Deep experience with microservice architectures and patterns.
- Strong command of cloud services across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with observability platforms like Grafana or Datadog.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL datastores.
- Experience designing and operating message queue systems like Kafka.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
