Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Java and React.
- Integrate systems and ensure reliable data flow and functionality across applications.
- Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and improve development processes and tools.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Create and maintain software design, technical, and user documentation.
- Implement security best practices to protect financial data and support regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of full stack development experience focused on Java and React.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
- Extensive experience with React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of databases such as SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Financial services experience, particularly in wholesale credit risk, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and microservices architecture is preferred.
