Base Salary
$107k - $161k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive mid-size feature application design and development efforts to completion and support larger initiatives.
- Serve as a development lead and key decision maker in application design discussions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot coding, application performance, design, and defect-resolution challenges.
- Apply expertise in information modeling, data structures, algorithms, system dependencies, runtime properties, and performance requirements.
- Help develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and software quality.
- Participate in the full development life cycle, including test plan execution and coordination of agile and waterfall delivery dependencies.
- Partner with technology and user experience vendors on implementation plans, roadmaps, and development-velocity opportunities.
- Communicate progress, manage escalations, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve differing views across teams.
- Improve development processes, test plans, operations, architecture, delivery, and production operations workflows.
- Share technical knowledge through team forums and engineering presentations.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in a product development or product management environment.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven and results-oriented approach.
- Experience delivering software with an agile methodology.
- Experience influencing large-scale culture change and leading infrastructure programs.
- Experience working with third-party service providers.
- Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration, coaching, and diplomacy skills.
- Ability to work with substantial autonomy and provide technical leadership on medium-scale projects.
