Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle design, codification, testing, and delivery of Kubernetes configurations using Helm and environment overlays.
- Operate a GitOps model with Argo CD, including canary releases, validation gates, autoscaling, resiliency, and secure secrets management.
- Use Prometheus and Grafana to improve system reliability and performance through observability and data-driven analysis.
- Enforce configuration quality, governance, security, compliance, reproducibility, backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
- Advance a self-service deployment platform using Backstage and Argo CD.
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate configuration-as-code development, validation, and optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in an analytical subject such as Computer Science or Electronic/Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of demonstrated software development experience.
- Extensive architecture and programming experience with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong Kubernetes and microservices experience.
- Experience with GitOps and CI/CD.
- Preferred experience with Helm or Kustomize, Argo CD, HashiCorp Vault, and observability involving metrics, logs, or tracing.
