Senior Software Engineer - Accounting

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to understand client requirements and refine product specifications.
- Develop new Geneva product features using an iterative development process.
- Maintain existing product functionality by fixing reported issues and resolving client escalations.
- Work with QA teams while features and bug fixes move through testing.
Requirements
- Experience with compiled, object-oriented programming languages, with C++ preferred.
- Experience using Linux or Unix operating systems.
- Experience using Linux debugging tools such as gdb.
- Experience developing enterprise software backends.
- Financial industry experience and support experience are strongly preferred.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles is preferred.
- Experience using agentic AI harnesses such as Claude Code or Codex is preferred.
- Strong numerical sensitivity, analytical thinking, curiosity, persistence, communication, and teamwork are preferred.
