Responsibilities
- Apply deep security expertise to solve complex security problems requiring novel approaches and expert judgment.
- Build security products, tools, and AI-driven capabilities for real-world security challenges.
- Design and execute adversary research, threat analysis, detection engineering, and investigation workflows.
- Improve AI security reasoning through expert-generated signals, evaluations, and feedback.
- Develop reusable security methodologies and partner with engineering, product, and research teams to integrate innovations into production AI systems.
- Drive complex security initiatives and share findings through internal publications and the broader security community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience; alternatively, a PhD plus two years of hands-on security engineering experience.
- At least five years of hands-on security engineering experience in areas such as detection engineering, threat intelligence, incident response, cloud security, adversary simulation, offensive security, or digital forensics.
- Extensive knowledge of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, Go, C, C++, or shell scripting.
- Experience engineering security systems, tools, or capabilities and operating independently on complex, ambiguous challenges.
- Preferred experience includes AI tools and agents, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, responsible AI, adversary simulation, cloud security, forensic investigation, supply chain security, mobile or network protocol security, and AI/agent security.
- Preferred candidates may have security community contributions or experience improving AI models through expert feedback, red-teaming, or evaluation design.
