Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test DSP algorithms for licensable audio technologies.
- Contribute to active noise reduction, voice pickup, spatial audio, speech enhancement, and related audio experiences.
- Ensure algorithms are robust, portable, and scalable across platforms and partner products.
- Integrate and validate DSP algorithms on embedded, real-time systems.
- Adapt and tune algorithms for varying hardware, software, and system constraints.
- Evaluate third-party technologies and contribute to make-versus-buy analyses.
- Collaborate with engineering, systems, software, product management, and external partner teams.
- Debug embedded systems and work with audio lab equipment.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a signal-processing-related field; MS preferred.
- At least 4 years of relevant industry experience in DSP, audio, or related embedded systems development.
- Strong foundation in digital signal processing with audio and/or speech processing experience.
- Experience developing DSP algorithms for embedded or real-time systems.
- Proficiency programming signal-processing algorithms using C, Python, and Matlab.
- Familiarity with acoustics and acoustic measurements, microphones, and audio transducers.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate third-party algorithms and libraries.
- Exposure to fixed-point or optimized implementations is a plus.
- Exposure to applied machine learning for audio systems, such as noise reduction, speech enhancement, or audio classification, is desirable.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth audio systems and their constraints is desirable.
- Effective cross-disciplinary communication and a collaborative, self-directed working style.
