Responsibilities
- Design and develop product software, APIs, user interfaces, tooling, automations, and monitoring services.
- Build new features and improvements using multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Work across backend, server-side, and frontend development, or contribute as a backend-only or frontend-only specialist.
- Participate in the Agile development process and the full software development life cycle.
- Implement unit tests and automated regression tests to ensure software quality.
- Perform architectural improvement, maintenance, refactoring, tuning, and code optimization.
- Handle escalations from support and consultancy teams as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- High proficiency in at least two of Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, C++, C#, and AngularJS.
- Expertise with microservices frameworks, frontend development technologies, and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience with HTTP(S), TCP/IP, and UDP network protocols.
- Understanding of how browsers work.
- Experience with Eggplant Server and Eggplant Functional is advantageous.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning abilities.
