Responsibilities
- Design and develop product software, APIs, user interfaces, tooling, automations, and monitoring services.
- Build backend, server-side, and frontend features using multiple programming languages and technologies.
- Improve software architecture, maintain and refactor code, tune performance, optimize implementations, and add new features.
- Implement unit tests and automated regression tests to ensure software quality.
- Participate in the Agile software development lifecycle from preliminary system analysis through testing and deployment.
- Handle escalations from support and consultancy teams as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and more than 8 years of relevant experience.
- High proficiency in at least two of Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, TypeScript, C++, C#, and AngularJS.
- Expertise with microservices frameworks, frontend development technologies, and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience with HTTP(S), TCP/IP, and UDP network protocols.
- Solid understanding of browser operation.
- Experience with Eggplant Server and Eggplant Functional is preferred.
- Strong coding, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, learning, and teamwork abilities.
