Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, debug, and troubleshoot full-stack applications using React, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Build backend services and APIs integrating with AWS services, Redis, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
- Perform code reviews, document technical designs, and mentor junior engineers.
- Design and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, deployment, release, rollback, and backup processes.
- Provision and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform, including networking, security groups, load balancers, and related components.
- Support SRE-related operations such as observability, monitoring, disaster recovery readiness, security, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, security teams, and architects to deliver reliable releases.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant DevOps or cloud infrastructure experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, Node.js, and React or React Native.
- Experience building APIs and working hands-on with AWS, including Lambda, ECS or EKS, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFront.
- Familiarity with MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and AWS SQS or SNS.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitLab or similar tools, Terraform, Docker, automated testing, cloud networking, firewalls, load balancers, and web or application servers.
- Preferred experience with NestJS or other Node.js frameworks, microservices, distributed systems, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and government or enterprise-scale projects.
