Responsibilities
- Design and implement clean, reusable software and large-scale distributed systems built from microservices.
- Build innovative client experiences in collaboration with analysts, designers, project managers, and other teammates.
- Deploy and deliver software using continuous delivery, DevSecOps, and infrastructure-automation practices.
- Participate in the complete software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through deployment.
- Advocate for engineering best practices including test-driven development, pair programming, design patterns, and continuous delivery.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute technical leadership to the team.
- Proactively assess team health, code quality, and nonfunctional requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with TypeScript and Node.js alongside frontend frameworks such as Vue.js and NuxtJS.
- Strong object-oriented programming and software engineering experience.
- Experience deploying to AWS or GCC 2.0 and automating infrastructure with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and GitLab CI.
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code and apply test-driven development and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Comfort with Agile approaches including Extreme Programming, Scrum, and/or Kanban.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker is preferred.
- Technical influence, communication, resilience in ambiguous situations, and a commitment to technical excellence are valued.
- External technology-community participation through speaking, open-source contributions, blogging, or similar activities is valued.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR due to client security-clearance requirements.
