Responsibilities
- Translate user requirements into ServiceNow workflow processes in collaboration with business analysts.
- Provide technical input during solutioning workshops, user meetings, and ServiceNow solution architecture design.
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using the Now Platform App Engine.
- Create service catalogs and configure workflows according to user requirements.
- Conduct system integration testing and document test results.
- Develop UAT test plans and support user acceptance testing and sign-off.
- Rectify defects identified during UAT and after go-live.
- Design scalable and interoperable common ServiceNow components.
- Prepare technical documentation from solution design through deployment for operational handover.
- Provide ServiceNow application development cross-training to team members.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent.
- At least 8 years of IT application experience.
- 3–5 years of ServiceNow development experience, including client- and server-side scripting.
- Experience integrating applications with ServiceNow.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines without continuous technical supervision.
- Understanding of user authentication and authorization across multiple applications and environments.
- Experience with other ServiceNow ITSM or ITBM modules is preferred.
