Responsibilities
- Write, review, and own production-quality full-stack code as a hands-on individual contributor.
- Contribute to technical direction, architectural decisions, Architecture Decision Records, and evolutionary architecture practices.
- Use AI tools and frameworks to improve software development speed, quality, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Break complex technical work into scoped increments, remove blockers, escalate risks, and protect delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with QAs, product owners, architects, designers, program managers, platform teams, and other stakeholders.
- Advocate for test coverage, refactoring, technical debt reduction, TDD, BDD, pair programming, and automated testing.
- Design and implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Establish robust monitoring, logging, and alerting to support system reliability and performance.
- Promote security-by-design and responsible handling of data and infrastructure.
- Communicate technical concepts, risks, progress, and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language, specifically JavaScript or Java, with strong knowledge of frontend and backend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AI tools, frameworks, and platforms applied to software delivery.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Fluency with XP practices including TDD, pair programming, continuous integration, and refactoring.
- Working knowledge of security principles including secrets management and least privilege.
- Must have the right to work and live in India and be within commuting distance of the Bengaluru office.
