Base Salary
$124k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and document instrumentation and experimentation standards and partner with product engineering teams to apply them.
- Build and improve scalable analysis pipelines and tooling for reliable insights and metric investigations.
- Create tools and processes enabling Data Scientists and Engineers to access trusted datasets, insights, and metric definitions independently.
- Identify data quality and discoverability gaps and contribute to reliable, well-governed data practices.
- Maintain documentation for tools, datasets, metrics, and operating practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to communicate insights and inform product improvements.
- Use AI to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and iteration while verifying correctness, quality, and responsible use.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience delivering analytics engineering or data solutions in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Experience using SQL and Python, R, or a comparable programming language with large, high-dimensional datasets, including nested data structures, window functions, query optimization, and data partitioning.
- Experience building and operating data workflows, workflow orchestration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and DAG dependencies across complex datasets.
- Ability to translate open-ended partner needs into clear technical objectives and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Business Intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI in day-to-day engineering workflows and critically evaluate AI-assisted work through testing, data validation, source-checking, or peer review.
- High integrity and ownership, including protecting sensitive data, avoiding over-reliance on AI, and remaining accountable for deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
