Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines integrating sensor, satellite imagery, drone imagery, weather, and agronomic data.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models and build supporting infrastructure.
- Develop product features for growers and iterate based on real-world user feedback.
- Help select the technology stack and establish engineering practices.
- Contribute to future engineering hiring.
Requirements
- Roughly 0 to 4 years of professional experience or an equivalent record of building and shipping work.
- Strong coding ability in Python and/or TypeScript with comfort working across the stack.
- Experience specializing in data engineering, machine learning, or AI agent development.
- A record of shipping production code to users and completing substantial projects through research, open source, startup work, or independent products.
- Experience with PyTorch, computer vision, time-series, or geospatial data is preferred.
- Interest or experience in agriculture, climate, food, hard tech, or early-stage startups is welcome but not required.
Benefits
- Base salary up to $250,000 annually plus meaningful equity.
- On-site five days per week in San Francisco, California.
